Xinquanli Laser, also known as XQL Laser, held the opening ceremony for its relocated Vietnam operation at its Ho Chi Minh City base on 1 November. Industry partners and customer representatives attended. The company described the opening as a step in its international development and the establishment of a new local-service base for Vietnam and the wider Southeast Asian market.
Manufacturing in Southeast Asia has expanded rapidly, with growth in Vietnam’s metalworking, machinery and sheet-metal industries increasing demand for intelligent laser equipment. Some local buyers have faced difficulties inspecting equipment, lengthy sample-processing cycles and slow maintenance responses. XQL’s relocated base combines a showroom, demonstration machines, a local technical team and after-sales operations to address these service needs.
The relocation expands the physical showroom and demonstration-machine offering, improving access to equipment inspections and on-site cutting trials. Building on its local technical and service team, the company intends to respond more quickly to commissioning, repairs and training requirements, reducing reliance on cross-border communication and remote troubleshooting. Its stated objectives include shorter equipment delivery cycles, lower operating and maintenance costs, and solutions adapted to local production conditions.
The Vietnam operation is part of a move from exporting products towards local operations. XQL has supplied laser-cutting, welding and other intelligent equipment to multiple international markets and accumulated overseas project experience. The physical base extends its overseas offering to technology, services and integrated solutions, linking pre-sales, delivery and after-sales support and bringing the company closer to Southeast Asian customers.
During the opening event, guests visited the new showroom and demonstration equipment, observed sample-processing tests and discussed sheet-metal and metal-cutting production requirements with technical staff. Participants expressed expectations for the new local-service location.
XQL says the relocated operation will continue developing its local team and laser-manufacturing solutions for Southeast Asia. With Ho Chi Minh City as its base, it intends to serve Vietnam and expand into neighbouring markets. The company plans to combine research and manufacturing support from its Chinese headquarters with local service capabilities in Vietnam to develop its business alongside regional manufacturers.
