Begin with the exact model and document revision. A product-family overview often combines several configurations; its headline ranges may not apply to an individual model.

Separate nominal, typical and guaranteed values. Read footnotes for measurement methods, temperature limits and optional configurations. Keep average power distinct from peak power, and distinguish optical output from electrical input.

For pulsed operation, check how pulse energy, repetition rate and pulse duration are related in the specified mode. Burst operation and configurable pulse shapes can require additional clarification.

Document the units and limits exactly. A missing field should remain unspecified until the manufacturer provides evidence. Ask for model-specific mechanical drawings, interface information and operating requirements alongside optical performance data.
